About Me
Hi! I'm Spire, a Mechatronics Engineer that occasionally streams building keyboards on this Twitch channel: TwitchMissPyre
My commissions are mostly focused towards people with little knowledge about keyboards, so I'm used to guiding them towards their ideal build. I keep budget under control by showing people their options when it comes to price vs quality.
That said, I can also work with more complicated builds and I'm happy to have conversations with knowledgeable people who can provide a challenge!

The PCB was modified with Millmax hotswap sockets. The case is the Tofu65 frosted acrylic case and the keycaps are Cherry profile KP Republic FR with some Tai-Hao rubber accents.

Blank KAT |
Like the name suggests, this keyboard was made from leftover parts! The PCB was modified with Millmax hotswap sockets and a wired shortcircuit. The case is a KBDFans 65% low profile anodised aluminium case.

The underglow LEDs were hand-soldered.
First attempt at designing a macropad
This was meant to be a fully hotswap (Kailh sockets) macropad with per-key and underglow LEDs and an inbuilt MCU. Unfortunately, the electronics surrounding the MCU were designed incorrectly so this PCB did not work.

My own custom design |

Kailh Pro Polias |
Keycaps |
Combination |
This PCB uses Promicro microcontroller breakout header pins instead of having an onboard MCU. For this iteration I also added a front and back plate for aesthetics. Unfortunately, I used the wrong schematic symbol for the per-key LEDs, so they don't work. Everything else does, though!

Hexagon |
The kit came with front and back plates made from anodised aluminium and hexagon Choc keycaps.

MBK Glow Keycaps |
This was my first design for a 60% split keyboard. Both halves of the keyboard are connected through a serial connection shared through a TRRS cable.
